Michael Westgate has been designing and making high quality individual pieces of furniture for over 20 years.  Trained at a firm of furniture restorers and subsequently at Rycotewood college prior to setting up a workshop in Norfolk.  We moved to our present workshop in North Norfolk in 1997.  Clients have included  Welsh National Opera, Madam Tussauds, and Clare College Cambridge although most of our work is for private clients.                                 

        The majority of our work consists of individually designed pieces which are made specifically for the client, and it is this, together with the selection of the best available materials, which gives each piece its unique quality.                           

       Many designs are classically inspired with attention to proportion and detail being especially important.
