Palladian display cabinet

 

Based on a Villa by Andrea Palladio this cabinet is made from an ancient pear tree from Magdalen College Oxford.  The pediment and arches are veneered in amboyna and the legs are faux marble. The mirrors in the back are hand silvered with silver leaf. There are recessed led lights in the ceiling.

 

 

Access to the cabinet is from the side so as to leave the front so as to leave the front unencumbered by doors.
