Satinwood cabinet

The door panels are veneered with satinwood of an unusual figure and set with panels cast from fossil ammonites and part gilded.  The doors open by means of a secret catch. The interior is veneered in macassar ebony with decoupage back panel. The cabinet has gilded feet and sits on an ebonised stand.
